Kung Fu Panda 2 movie is fun, full of action and heartwarming. There are some thematic let-downs, yet, that deserve caution.

Kung Fu Panda 2 movie serves as a prime example of DreamWorks finally getting the sequel formula right. Building off of the success of the original 2008 hit, Panda 2 brings more laughs, larger scale, finer animation, and arguably more heart. Jack Black make a return as the  incompetently mighty Po the panda to continue fighting against what threatens to make hand-to-hand fight extinct.

Joined by the Furious Five, the group wages war amidst the beautiful landscape of China in thrilling sequences of 3D combat that highlight the evolution of the fighting in the first film. With newcomer Jennifer Yuh joins the pack, helped with the returning talents of writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger along with the full voice cast, Kung Fu Panda 2 full movie is the latest animated movie to blur the lines between the admiration from adults and children alike, and brings bang for your buck in 3D. Kung Fu Panda 2 movie opens with a tale about a peacock family ruling a city in China. The family invented fireworks, but the son of the two ruling peacocks, Lord Shen, wants to use the gunpowder for evil means, so they banish him.

At the same time, Po the Dragon Warrior is now living his dream, protecting the Valley of Peace with his peers and fellow kung fu masters, Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper, and Monkey – the Furious Five. Po’s awesome new life is menaced, however, by the appearance of Shen, who’s been gathering metal in all villages to make loads of cannons and take over China. It’s up to Po and the Furious Five to travel across China to fight and vanquish Lord Shen.

How can Po and his fellows stop a weapon that is able to stop kung fu? Po must look to his past and unveil the secrets of his mysterious origins. Only then will he be able to unlock the power he requires to defeat Lord Shen and his evil schemes.

Kung Fu Panda 2 movie online is just as amusing, even more heartwarming, than the first installment. This time, the hero’s adventure is more personal, as Po must search his memories for what happened with his birth parents. The sequences between Po and his adoptive father, Mr. Ping, are extremely emotional, some of the film’s best highlights.

Given that, lots of references to Chinese Taoism and the Yin Yang symbol appeared in Kung Fu Panda 2. The fact that pandas are black and white, as is the film’s hero, represents the Taoist symbol of Yin Yang, which is black and white. These images are set against the backdrop of discussion about the importance of Po seeking “inner peace”. Also, early in the film, Po’s master, Shifu, tells Po that finding “inner peace” is about seeking unite or becoming one with “the flow of the universe.” So, only when Po finally finds inner peace is he capable of conquering Lord Shen’s powerful cannon weapons.

It is said that simple or “early” Chinese Taoism is nearer to monotheism than Buddhism. In fact, Taoism is about following the Way and mentions about the “Three Pure Ones” who created the universe, proving that it can even be related to the Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity in some ways. Following the Way of Taoism also has an ethical side that venerates compassion, humility, and moderation.

Therefore, there are respects to Taoism that Christians can use to evangelize Chinese people who accept Taoism or know it. Certainly, many Chinese people also harmonize aspects of Taoism with Buddhism, and both philosophical/religious customs have influenced one another. The Yin Yang symbol, however, can lead to a sort of dualism that distorts the differences between good and bad and other opposing ideas, though it also accepts the biblical doctrine that male and female are opposites that complete one another.

During the climax of Kung Fu Panda 2 online, Po mentions about the importance of letting go of the past, forgiving those who have harmed you and following what you want to be and do. Thus, despite the Taoist references in the movie, it has morally uplifting, redemptive qualities where forgiveness, courage, and letting go of the sins and hurts of the past are venerated.

The actual fact that Kung Fu Panda 2 online movie makes you want to self-reflect and become retrospective is amazing. For a film that appears to just be a barrel of laughs on the outside, there is a surprising amount of heart built in. The other qualm with the story is the opening sequence. While it is visually stunning, I think it may have dulled my ability to pay attention to what the animation was trying to tell me. Make sure you are ready to get on board with the story when the film begins.

With my nitpicking out of the way, let’s get back to the improvements. Remember the ending of the first movie and how many enemies the heroes were facing as they jump off a cliff? Imagine adding 3D to the scene, and playing it out three or four times. With that in mind, you get a sense of scope of the action set pieces. They are massive and with the additional dimension, look stunning. Unlike so many movies that appear to just play with 3D, animated movies have long been in the frontier last year and a half as they work in the extra dimension so well. Yet, Panda 2 goes a step beyond. DreamWorks as a whole appears to be expert in adding much-needed value for your extra dollar, and the movie really shines. This is one film I would actually encourage you to see in 3D.

To conclude, I advise caution for young audience for Kung Fu Panda 2 full movie. Parents should discuss the film’s themes with their children of any age. Simultaneously, they should emphasize that only in Jesus Christ and His Good News Gospel will anyone find true inner peace.
