In May 2014, Edgar Wright left his chair of director in Ant-man filming crew, Adam McKay jumped in a negotiation to take Wright’s place but dropped out soon afterwards; but he is still with Ant-man. McKay teamed up with Paul Rudd to rewrite the screenplay making great changes including adding characters and firing up the actions to enhance the connection between Ant-man and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). I has to say that the script of Ant-man has been polished so well. Not only being rewrote, later on, it was revision by Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer. The result is the amazing movie of Ant-man and the wasp trailer we saw in cinema.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is still two years away, and fan are ensured that it’s worth their waiting. McKay has confỉmed that he’ll be participating in making Ant-Man and the Wasp movie. His return indicates that Marvel is bringing back much of the creative talent including Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer from the first movie to give the sequel a familiar feel. It only remains to be seen whether McKay will be one of the main group of writers or if he’ll be called in to rewrite it, but he’s already spoken with Paul Rudd about ideas for the movie, so clearly making Ant-Man and the Wasp 2018 a good story is important to him. Returning with McKay is Payton Reed as director. This is not a surprise since Reed knows what he’s doing and how to make it to the best. Reed has done a great job in the first Ant-man movies, he inherits the project from the walk-away Wright, keeps the core and turns it to one of the most unique and successful movies on the Marvel slate to date. Not only old faces that wow us, new faces are coming to blow up our mind. Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna, writers of Community and The Lego Batman Movie, also get their credit for writing screenplay for Ant-man and Wasp.
Also revealed at SDCC was the addition of Hannah John-Kamen. She’s joining the cast as The Ghost, a villain with the combined powers of invisibility and intangibility, and joining her on villain duties is Walton Goggins. He takes on the role of Sonny Burch, the chairman of Cross Technologies, he is a morals-free weapons contractor with ties to Obadiah Stane in Iron Man. We also have Laurence Fishburne taking on the role of Goliath. Goliath, better known on his driving license as Bill Foster, was a contemporary of original Ant-Man Hank Pym. Goliath, Ant-Man and the Wasp movie originally teamed up so it will be interesting to see how the movie deals with timelines and flashbacks and whether someone will become a new Goliath for a new generation of size shifting heroes. Last but not least, we’re going to meet again a funny sceen-stealing Luis (Michael) Ant-Man and the Wasp. His elaborate recollection of events was one of the best parts of the first film making him a seriously welcome presence in the sequel. Altogether this is a seriously stellar cast, one that proves Ant-Man and the wasp is no longer a risky addition to the MCU’s roster, but one of its shining stars.
